In February, the number of passengers transported by public transport in Riga increased by 8%
In February this year, 9 575 062 passengers were transported on public transport in Riga, which is almost 8% more than in February 2023. The largest number of passengers – 1 052 692 – were transported on tram route 1. The highest number of bus passengers, 618 982, were transported on bus route 3, while the highest number of trolleybus passengers, 541 577, were transported on trolleybus route 15.

Public transport travelled 2 824 654 kilometres in the whole route network in February. In total, transporting 4 242 272 bus passengers, 3 339 284 trolleybus passengers and 1 993 506 tram passengers.
